If I was posting this story to another site, these are the disclaimers that I'd attach at the beginning. Given the topic of the latest chapter (coming later today), the new third disclaimer seemed like a good idea.
Disclaimer: This story contains sexual and violent content. If you might find such material offensive, if it is illegal in your area, or if you are not old enough to read such material according to the laws in your area, please stop reading now.
Disclaimer 2: This story is mostly about high school students. Ages are rarely given, but the main characters are said to be seniors, when such details are mentioned at all. In the author’s country of origin, high school students often reach their 18th birthday during their final year of school. So if you care about such things with regard to completely fictional characters, you can safely assume that these characters are 18 years old, and thus, legally adults.
Disclaimer 3: The main character of this story is homophobic, but the author isn’t. When my character says homophobic things and uses slurs to disparage queer characters in the story, it’s my attempt to portray her as a nasty, evil bitch, not a reflection of my own beliefs. Hopefully, readers will agree that the ends justifies the means here, especially when they see where the story goes in the long term.
